About Racine County Pony Club
The Racine County Pony Club – also known as RCPC – is an active and vibrant member of the United States Pony Club organization. We have about 50 members, including both Youth members and Horsemasters (Adults).
RCPC was chartered in 1967. The club was first organized through a lesson program for students of the Prairie School in Racine, using leased horses from a local stable. The active horse community in the Caledonia area worked hard to support the club, anxious to see this education of young people continue and grow. In 2007, with the help of generous donors, the Racine County Pony Club became the first Pony Club in the United States to open its own equestrian center. The Center, 5518 Highway 31 in Racine, is our home base for educational meetings and mounted clinics, our community lesson program and events for the community.
